FREE Website Hosting for UK Charities
We are really proud to announce a new scheme where we will be supporting UK registered Charities by offering them FREE website hosting and website support. Our free plan contains everything our basic paid plan includes, including a FREE SSL certificate for privacy, 3 FREE emails and a FREE litespeed web server for speed. We also throw in a Cloudflare CDN with Railgun for FREE too. On top of that, we will help you with the setup of all these features.
We are really keep to be able to support as many charitable groups as possible so please share this where you can on social media. We will even promote your charity on this site with a logo and a link back to you.
If you already have an existing site we even offer FREE transfer of the site to us as well!
What do we Want Back?
Not much. There are only four things that we would like in return for this offer:
1) That you publicise the scheme on your social media so that more charities can benefit and leave a review of our hosting facilities.
2) You place a small link back to us in the footer of your web page so that says FREE Charity Hosting proudly sponsored by Hipposerve
3) You purchase your domain name through us (we have great prices so don’t worry). If you already have a domain name we ask that you transfer it to us.
4) From time to time you allow us to publish details of your charitable work in our blog, thus promoting the scheme and your charity.
Is it really free? What’s the Catch?
There is no catch! All aspects of the hosting is free to get you started. This plan supports around 90,000 visits a month. That’s more than enough for most small charities. If your charity flourishes and out grows this plan then you may wish to move to a larger package to meet your increased traffic needs. We will be able to offer you continued discounts on these larger packages.
What is the Eligibility Criteria for this Scheme?
It is only . fair that we offer this free hosting opportunity to genuine charities. In all cases you must be a registered UK charity and listed on the UK Charity Commisions Website.
As part of the registration process you will be asked to provide your full registered charity name and registration number.
Our main criteria for eligibility are as follows:
- The work and projects completed by the charity match our interests.
- The charity is genuine in its mission to help others and does not have sinister intent, such as extreme political leanings, or religious teachings.
- Payment of staff working for the charity is not excessive and money raised is not spent frivolously.
- There is documented evidence of the work that the charity does and you are happy to share this with us from time to time, so we can use it in our blog to a) promote the scheme and b) to promote your charity.
At present we are unable to offer free websites to Schools, PTA groups, regional branches or large charities or Scout and Guide Movement websites. We may still be able to offer a discount for some of these groups. We also reserve the right to refuse this service without reason.
What this service isn’t.
This service is not a web site design service, whist we can provide access to top designers, Weebly, or coming soon the free DIVI wordpress designer, we can not help you design your page yourself
In Summary
