You will have noticed our Personal Cloud hosting packages and you may have thought what are these and are they relevant to me? In this post I will talk a bit about who these packages are for and the purpose they serve. I will also look at what they are not for.

A cheap way to get online.

Our personal packages are definitely a cheap way to get on line. With our cheapest package priced at only £1.99 a month (when purchased triennially) you can get a fully featured website without breaking the bank. This is not just a basic account by the way, it is fully featured with everything you would expect from a much more expensive package. With 99.9% uptime, FREE bespoke caching, FREE Cloudflare with Railgun and FREE and automatic SSL these are not web hosting packages to be sniffed at. Remember, google likes SSL, so your sites will be poised to get a good position in their rankings.

The packages do come with a one click WordPress installer so you can install the web’s most popular content management service at the click of a mouse button. Then begin creating content straight away. However with the most basic of our packages we recommend a simple installation with a basic theme, and not many processor heavy plugins. If however you want even more simplicity, we have partnered with Weebly, and drag and drop website creator, which is available as a very reasonably priced option on all our packages.

Designed for the Individual

The packages are designed for the individual. Someone who wants to make their web presence felt, and is making that leap to their own web site. This could be for a blog, a showcase of talent, for the artists, photographers and thespians amongst you – or even an online CV. Who are these packages not for?

When someone spots a great deal, and we believe these are a great deal, they are tempted to snap it up. Start up businesses and community groups, or even larger companies may purchase these packages with a view to running high bandwidth or processor intensive websites. If you do this you will be disappointed. They are just not designed to be hit hard. If you think you E-commerce shop will function on a £2.99 package, then think again – there is nothing worse than your customers getting to the checkout and having the website crash out due to lack of resources!
